Quran is our goal and the means to that goal become obligatory. In Islamic law what is needed to fulfill an obligatory act becomes itself obligatory. As I have written elsewhere that today Quranic values of Jihad, Islamic self-determination and Muslim self-governance by Shariah law are all obligatory for the Ummah and we need to use the contemporary tools and techniques from the world of finance, economy, politics, technology and all other beneficial epistemic resources to achieve our Quranic goals. We must do it fast before we lose our Islamic demography to neocolonialism and fascism. Naïve Muslims will say “is it fard ain (obligatory on every Muslim)”? To answer technically it is not fard ain for every Muslim to take part in Islamic revival, but it is Fard Kifayah (collective obligation of political, financial and other relevant establishments) because they are the relevant people to build and solidify pillars of collective human success which have always meant empowerment of politics, culture, economy and military. For Muslims this empowerment must come through Islam due to earthly and other worldly successes. However, if a Muslim love his religion, feels for the suffering of fellow brethren due to shared faith, Islamic values won’t every Muslim make it their struggle??
So Islamists when working for Islamic revival must leave aside all thoughts of racial, tribal and national empowerments. When you are on the field as a soldier of Allah you are working to empower His commands and will i.e. divine morality. You are definitely not on the field to allocate power to a certain race, class, tribe or nation. Yes, there will be always people running governance on behalf of Allah, but these people of Allah need not be secular exclusionists. These concepts of racism, nationalism, tribalism, aristocracy etc., are all secular exclusionary principles and models.
The divine morality is collection of the values which Allah has cherished for humanity and His believing servants. Our shared values among all Muslim races, nationalities, classes and tribes is the divine morality. This is what define us and has defined us as Quran and Prophet have stated in many verses, the farewell pilgrimage and in many numerous Hadiths. Verses and hadiths which talk of one community of believers, one body of the believer, disregard for skin color and wealth distinction, Muslim marriages among different races, tribes, nationalities and classes are all based on and proofs of oneness of our values and faith. These values and faith are what is divine morality: Allah assigned good and bad, right and wrong i.e. the criterion of judgement and salvation.
A Muslim of one race/nationality/tribe/class must not fear the culture of Muslim of another race/nationality/tribe/class due to differences among their cultural perception and practices as long as such practices and perceptions are Shariah compliant. We must not be afraid of our foreigner Muslim brethren just because their Shariah compliant culture is different from us. This fear is being secular and xenophobic, racist.
So in order to usher the era of divine morality among Muslims we need to have one universal common jurisdiction to practice and enforce Shariah law even though this jurisdiction is divided among multiple Muslim demography, localities and rule. When we have established a universal jurisdiction among Muslim geographies, we can forget the preferences of locality, nationalism, tribalism, aristocracy and racism. We will have a universal domain for the pious and merited to rule over us and have no fear and lack of trust of the foreigner vis-à-vis local. This is the true spirit of Quran 3:103.
As being the just Ummah (ummatan wasatan) in Quran 2:143 we are also not isolationists and exclusionists of non-Muslims. We are the representatives (Khaleefa) of Allah and not representatives of our races, nationalities, tribes or classes and this means we must be just and fair towards all servants of Allah whether humans, animals and even the nature we exist in.
We must break free from the shackles of colonial legacy and transcend to the conscience of divine morality in faith and practice. We must forget defining and boasting ourselves as Malaysian, Iranian, Arabian, Indonesian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Turkish etc. all these jahiliyya superficial identities and affiliations imposed upon on us by enemies of Allah and rather only use such terms to identify geographies and locations which however need to express the divine morality thereby universally declaring these identities and affiliations as almost monolithic.
Failing to be free from colonial legacy has caused mental slavery and inferiority complex to Muslim mind. Today's misguided Muslim has two ambitions: 1. mosque, graveyard and rituals 2. Visionless profit making. To them Islam is just this. The ummah conscience and the duty of Caliphate have evaporated from their foolish minds. While every working white supremacist, fascist, Zionist, Hindutva and Buddhist majoritarianism from low to high jobs, classes and conscience believe in the white supremacy, greater Israel, greater India project and Buddhist majoritarianism we Muslims are busy in stupid things detrimental to our very existence, detrimental to the existence of the divine morality. we are paying the price: demise of ottomans, occupation of Palestine, occupation of Kashmir, devastation of Bosnia, genocide of Rohingya, demographic death of Muslims in gulf are just some of the examples of our slavish mentality. These are just symptoms of our final doom. No UN will help us if we don't help ourselves. UN is run by the dictates who hold the chips and bargaining cards.
